Vets365 and Artius Leadership Partner to Serve Homeless Veterans

Sheila Cohen, COO, and Theophilus Tor, CEO, have been working together for four years and are making great strides in developing both modern living spaces, as well as, the support homeless Vets need to get back on their feet. Vets365 and Artius have acquired two 50’ Shipping containers, Donated by Yellow Freight, to be converted into modern housing for Homeless Veterans.
Currently one home is set to be deployed in Pahrump, Nevada with another set to open in Palmdale, California in the future. Sheila and Theo are excited to be working with volunteers from Chase Bank in converting the containers, and can even thank the Chase Bank team for acquiring the construction supplies. Sheila and Theo look forward to celebrating the official groundbreaking as early as summer.
The Leadership team at Artius is committed to positive change in the community and volunteer with numerous organizations. Artius has already donated around 100 hours to Veteran Business Owners in 2022 through Vets365 resulting in numerous new Service-Disabled Veteran Owned, and Woman Owned Small Business Certifications.
